It is an essential text for understanding the ins and outs of our website. As we transition to this final phase, we suggest reviewing several key sections which can help you navigate the crowded yet more exciting environment of Solana. To stay completely up to date on the Bridging process, head over to [Bridge](/website/bridge) and read through the complete explanation so that you are prepared to mint some (Not So) Pixelated XPUNKS on Solana. Once bridged, you can start farming and use the full suite of features it offers. Be sure to give the platform a thorough read to understand how leaderboards are calculated, the prizes that are up for grabs, and many more tools.
# Manifesto XPUNKS - No false promises. No hollow narratives. No predefined utility. Why? Because life, much like crypto, is hectic as fuck. Picture an Adderall-fueled rollercoaster ride and multiply that tenfold. The pace is relentless, and sticking to a single narrative can make you stale or irrelevant. Our focus? To prevent redundancy and continuously evolve alongside Web3’s relentless tempo. We don’t like to sit back and watch the world unfold, praying for one of our ideas to catch wind. No. We want to delve into more complex undertakings. Through that mentality, we were able to build and merge blockchain ecosystems, send NFTs to the physical moon and throw Berlin-themed raves around the world. We are not defined by what we do, but we sure as hell let our principles seep through our actions.
## Grifting off of another’s project’s art, huh? It’s no surprise that the CryptoPunks set the stage for punk art to dominate the NFT scene. It’s funny because many projects were so lazy that they copied the artwork to a T and gave it a different background and name before releasing it on another chain. We stepped away from that impulse. We didn’t want to replicate another project just to call it our own. We admired the art style and felt like we could give it our interpretation. Our spice, if you will. As such, every attribute from the original XPUNK collection was designed from scratch. The only similarity is the 24 by 24-pixel canvas and the fact that they are addicting to look at. We used this distinct take on punk art to propel what truly mattered - building a rep in web3. You see, the elements of success of an NFT project moved away from the classic hype and hyperbolic floor prices. It became more about the team and community behind it. Their passion, authenticity and the ability to dig their heels in deep when blood was in the street. Would OMB have come this far as a CryptoPunk-inspired project without ZK and Tony? Would Pudgy have become such a phenom at Walmart without Luca and Lorenzo? Would Claynosaurz be as relevant without Danial and Nicholas? Would MadLads still be able to dominate the charts without Armani and Tristan? We’re trying to say that although artwork might initially get people into a project, the ethos and vision of the leading team keep them diamond-fisting. So before jumping on the derivative naming boat waggon, check out the art and read our whole story. To start, we front-ran the entire XRP NFT ecosystem by issuing 5,000 tokens during the XRP Ledger airdrop craze of Q3 2021. How is this front-running the market? Half a token would be redeemable for an XPUNK once the NFT tech became available on the XRPL (which was approximately 13 months later). We airdropped the token to farmers, and they made the project go viral within 24 hours. Although it took some time before XRP NFTs came to be, XPUNKs always remained number 1 in the charts. During this wait, the team could not remain still. As you would imagine, many projects followed suit, hoping to ride the hype train. Many ruggers capitalised on poorly educated minds by issuing tokens without executing their so-called roadmaps. To fight this shitty paradigm, we deployed the MVP of our onXRP platform, a curated DEX interface and an educational platform. Once the tech went live, we dropped the onXRP NFT Marketplace, which, to this day, has been responsible for 63% of the total on-chain NFT-related volume. XPUNKS has been accountable for 35% of that on-chain volume. During the creation of onXRP, we began developing EDEN: Discovery, an extraction/exfiltration shooter set against a backdrop of post-apocalyptic survival with built-in metaverse mechanics. We have pumped significant cash into this venture and are still working behind the scenes to offer both holders and non-holders a top-tier alpha experience in the coming months. The driven nature of our team and the quality of our products caught the eye of many players in the space. One of them is a Cosmos-based Layer-1 chain called Coreum, which gave onXRP a grant to rebuild and rebrand to Bidds - a 2-chain NFT marketplace for all your things XRP and CORE NFTs. The marketplace is set to release in May/June of 2024 and will be a contender to follow in the Cosmos Ecosystem. In brief, our team built all of this on a low-liquidity chain during a bear market. Whereas many take on this ‘fuck-you’ mentality toward others, we use this mentality toward ourselves. Gone are the days of self-pity and ego-massaging. Driven by copious amounts of ADHD and Dutch stinginess, we know how to operate under quasar levels of pressure. As a matter of fact, we are looking for more of it. This time, in the realm of Solana. ## Who/what are the XPUNKS? To put it bluntly, we are a group of professional degenerates who love the space way too much not to be a part of it. The intensity of Web3 is what got us hooked. Now that we’ve created a name for ourselves, we can create IRL and URL experiences for our holders and users alike. Of course, the latest of these experiences has been the dispatch of our NFT collection and metadata to the moon to be part of the first museum on another celestial body, along with legends like Stan Lee, Van Gogh, Picasso and Michelangelo. Needless to say, these are some very nice points we can put on our resume. To amplify and praise achievements like these, we like to throw big-ass underground Berlinesque raves that get our community together to celebrate without being separated by computer screens. There is no predefined utility. No bullshit. Real things only, done by real people. What can you expect moving forward? Nothing more, nothing less. Just look at what we’ve done and count on the fact that we will continue doing more of what we have done. If this doesn’t sound appealing to you, then that’s more than fine. We want people who value authenticity and understand that this space doesn't come with a set of guidelines you need to adhere to to succeed. And to be fair, making the playbook ourselves sounds pretty fucking decent if you ask us. ## !PLAN: WHAT’S YO PLAN KADGE?! Look, we know many people aspire to get rich flipping NFTs. This is entirely understandable. However, we want to come to a point where holding an XPUNK means something more than the cash you’d get for flooring it. We want to move beyond that point. Provenance if you will. In the end, we're building a brand. A brand that can be partnered with streetwear apparel, record labels, or even rave organisations across the world. We want XPUNKS to be used throughout metaverses and holders to keep acquiring more IRL and URL perks. From free branded collab merch to underground rave tickets. From free NFT drops from our Layer-2 ecosystems to owning your very own 3D character across metaverses or whatever the fuck kind of world SORA or AI is going to throw at us in the next decade. The possibilities are vast. Now, even more so, on Solana. We've already gone to the moon, let's move the goal post. # The Moon 🚀🚀🚀 XPUNKS GOING TO DA MOON 🚀🚀🚀 Fucking love these emojis. They are so fresh. Jokes aside, every 2021 crypto/NFT hype comment loved spewing this sentence. Ironically enough, we've actually executed it. No anon, this is different. XPUNKS are literally on the actual Moon. How? I'll explain below. Through a friend of ours, we had the opportunity to participate in the IM-1 mission led by NASA and Intuitive Machines. The mission involved sending the first commercial lunar lander to the Moon's surface. This lander had space for a tiny bit of commercial payload on board, and we were a part of it. On the morning of February 15, 2024, the Odysseus lander embarked on its journey aboard a Falcon 9 rocket to the Moon. After traversing nearly 400,000 kilometres through space, it successfully touched the lunar surface at 23:23 UTC on February 22. Central to achieving this monumental task was using a Nanofiche. In this compact, 15-layer nickel stack time capsule, each XPUNK is individually engraved on this device, with all associated metadata securely preserved within its structure. Engineered for extraordinary longevity, the Nanofiche is expected to endure billions of years in space and at least 50 million years on the Moon. Its nickel composition is resilient against oxidation, electromagnetic radiation, extreme temperatures, and other environmental challenges.

In addition to XPUNKs, the mission includes contributions from 222 iconic artists spanning various fields, such as Grammy-winning artists, eminent visual creators, and world-class athletes. The collection features diverse works ranging from iconic paintings from masters like Van Gogh and Michelangelo, to contributions from modern legends such as Stan Lee, Mick Jagger, and Jimi Hendrix. It also includes 300 NFTs from the Moonbirds collection and tracks produced by Grammy-award winner Timbaland, establishing the Odysseus lander as the home of the inaugural Lunar Museum - a testament to human creativity and achievement across different eras and disciplines. # Bridge The Bridge will be a monumental event for XPUNKS. Once the first NFT project on the XRP Ledger, it is now the first XRP Ledger project moving to Solana, a blockchain that understands NFTs and offers countless more benefits for holders. However, before hastily making your way to the bridge and doing everything wrong, be sure to read before trying out the bridge yourself. For more help, do not hesitate to ask on our social channels. # The Bridging Process ONLY USE THE BRIDGE ON PC OR LAPTOP. Successfully bridging your XPUNKS to Solana is pretty straightforward. However, read this page carefully to learn about the process, the dos and don'ts, and the risks. To initiate the Bridge Process, head to the XPUNKS website at . Select the Bridge button on the header, and you will be redirected to the Bridging page. Click the top right button to connect your Solana wallet. * It is important to note that the Solana wallet you connect to the XPUNKS website will be the destination wallet of the bridged XPUNKS NFTs. Once you connected your Solana wallet, read through the terms & conditions. If you agree, you can start bridging your favourite pixelated Chunks by checking the box and pressing **Bridge XPUNKS**.

The first step is to connect your XAMAN wallet to the website. Scan the QR code on the screen and make sure to sign it with the wallet that holds the XPUNKS you wish to bridge.

Once the transaction is successfully signed, you will be redirected to step 2, where you can select the XPUNKS that you want to bridge. You can either choose them manually or use the **SELECT ALL** button on the page. *\*\*Note that each XPUNKS costs 19.95 XRP to bridge.\*\** Once you have selected the XPUNKS you want to bridge, click the **CONTINUE** button to initiate the bridge.

On the following page, a brief summary will indicate the number of XPUNKS you have selected to bridge, the estimated bridging cost, the SOL destination address, and the originating XRPL address. * Ensure that you have confirmed that these details are correct. Only then should you proceed to the next page.

Transaction Confirmation Page

This is the page where the magic happens. Due to a lack of the XRPL's programmability, you must sign two transactions: one for the bridge payment and one for the NFT burning. Note that you will have to sign two transactions per XPUNK (e.g. 5 XPUNKS will take a total of 10 transactions).

Once all transactions are signed and confirmed, the bridging process will begin! Depending on how busy the Solana Network is at the time of bridging, this can be anywhere from 15 minutes to instantaneously. * Note that the bridging process has a built-in retry mechanism in case transactions on the Solana Network fail. If you have not received your NFTs after 30 minutes, please create a ticket with our support team in Discord.

# FAQ ## How do I bridge? Please read the walkthrough in [The Bridging Process](/website/bridge/the-bridging-process) carefully. If you have any additional questions that are not covered in this FAQ or in the walkthrough, please create a support ticket with our staff or ask the community in the XPUNKS [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/xpunks). ## Why is there a fee associated with bridging an XPUNKS NFT? There is a fee associated with bridging an XPUNK NFT because minting an NFT on Solana also comes with certain costs per NFT, which are higher than on the XRP Ledger. Additionally, it helps us recoup some of the costs we have spent building this bridge. ## Are there any perks to bridging? Bridging will give you access to the 3D art extension. You will hold a dual NFT consisting of both the OG XPUNK art and a photorealistic rendition of it on the newest Solana standard called 'core' NFTs. You will have access to a plethora of NFT marketplaces offering more sophisticated tools than you might have experienced on the XRP Ledger (think collection offers, instant sells and top-trait matching). Additionally, holders will enjoy reduced royalties on the Solana side, as well as exposure to the Solana ecosystem. You will have access to more web browser-based wallets such as the Phantom Wallet, Solflare, and Exodus. ## Is it mandatory to bridge? No, it is not mandatory to bridge your XPUNKS from the XRP Ledger to Solana. The bridge is and will always be optional. However, we will focus development and the project at large on Solana. ## What happens to XPUNKS NFTs that stay on the XRP Ledger? They will remain on the XRP Ledger. It will always be your choice to bridge them. ## Will UNIXPUNKS, onXRP, and/or Eden be bridging as well? These projects have their own roadmap. Wait for official announcements. ## I have not received (all) my XPUNKS on the other side of the Bridge, what should I do? Of course, this should never happen. However, in the unlikely event that it *does* happen, please raise a support ticket with our staff in the XPUNKS [Discord](https://discord.com/invite/xpunks). # Social Platform A short description about the new XPUNK Social Platform The Social Platform is where creativity and complete degeneracy meet. Both have unique places within the realm of social media. With the XPUNKS Social Platform, this can now be tracked and, better yet, rewarded. Whether you are a trader, a socialfier, or just want to spread the good word about XPUNKS to your friends and acquaintances, the social platform will give you some interesting insight on how you engage with the rest of the community. Every day, prizes will be awarded to the Chunks with the highest trading and socialying scores. More information about this can be read in the prizes section.
# Chearning Platform What are the XPUNK social platform leaderboard Gods telling me? NOTE that this platform is launching in beta and no rewards will be awarded in this stage. When navigating to the **Chearn** Page, you will see the leaderboards of everyone participating in the free-for-all of social-earning. The beauty of it all is that everyone can participate. Why should you care? WELL... If you Tweet the most about XPUNKS, Trade the most XPUNKS or are straight-up just lucky af, you can have a chance of winning an XPUNK NFT every day. Note: * If you are on top of both segments, you will receive an XPUNK for both. * You can only win one XPUNK every seven days. * The random winner cannot be one of the winners of the other categories. The following parts will go further into how to participate per category. ## Social If you link your Twitter account to your ChunkID, our systems will automatically track tweets that mention @XPUNKNFTs. For engagement on Twitter, each like, comment, and retweet tally up as points that you receive on the social metric of the **Chunkboard**. The ratio at which these social interactions are translated to points is up to you to figure out. ## Trading To reach the top of the Trading section leaderboard, a user must have the largest trading volume share on the Solana XPUNKS collection. Points are only accumulated for buys. Per 0.1 SOL trading volume, a user receives 1 point ## Random A random winner is selected daily from among all participants. This person will receive an XPUNK for participating in the social platform. ## The Chunkboard Below, you can see a sneak peek of the Chunkboard and detailed statistics on your activity and accounts.
It is important to note that we will carefully go through the list of winners to determine if they came by their points honorably. If we deem this to not be the case, we reserve the right to deduct points, reset your points, or exclude you from the Social Platform for life. # Prizes A short description about the XPUNK prizes The three daily winners (Social Warrior, Trading Voume and Lucky Chunk) are distributed every 24 hours. Each contest runs 24 hours, with the cutoff time established at 4:20 PM UTC. Following this, one contest cycle concludes and the next 24-hour period commences.

The prizes for this contest include one XPUNKS NFT for each winner. On special occasions, there may be additional or alternative prizes offered.
